Prayer Requests & Praise Reports:
–Clayton’s co-worker is having knee surgery.
–Bunk asked prayer for Alice and her thyroid problems. Bunk also had a praise report about Jonathan being cancer-free.
–Please continue to keep Carol Blinson in your prayers.
–Sue asked prayer for her niece, who has been diagnosed with Lupus. She also asked that we continue to remember her brother-in-law, Dwight.
–Regina asked prayer for her friend’s young son (Richard). He is having gall bladder surgery on the 25th.
–Please remember my dad, John, as he is traveling and will be coming back from Va. tomorrow (Mom was not feeling well). Also, Dad’s doctor has mentioned referring him to Duke about the skin condition on his arms.
–It was great to see Kay Widhalm this morning. The doctors think they got all the cancer under her arm, and Kay has a positive, upbeat attitude.
–It was also good to see Aubrey and Linda Bunn.
Other Praise Reports:
–Charlie Williams was ordained as a deacon today. In Pastor Jim’s words:
“We thank the Lord for Charlie’s service, faithfulness, and love for Jesus and others.”
–The church had a great turn-out for Work Day yesterday, July 19th. We are thankful for the ones who came out to help.
