–Pastor Jim makes mention of Mark’s prayer request (which he had emailed to me Wed. afternoon):
Aug 13th 2008: Mark Guy has asked prayer for a co-worker’s brother, Mike Toole, who has just been diagnosed with an in-operable brain tumor. While in-operable is tough to hear, God’s ear is always open and nothing is in-operable with HIM! Please remember Mike Toole in your prayers.

–Buck asks prayer for Aubrey (as do many others). He says that this past Mon. it was determined that Aubrey could have the surgery, but it has been put off until Friday.
–Pastor Jim asks that we remember Mark and Jackie. Jackie has a cold, and Mark and Jackie are moving Crystal back to Mt. Olive College.
–Barbara Barbour is unable to attend and is “under the weather.”
–Carol and Nelson Blinson cont. to need our prayers. Besides their current health issues, they are also dealing with a lot otherwise.
–Kay Widhalm ’s biopsy was today, and she should get the results on Mon. or Tues. Then the doctors will know how to proceed, what type of radiation to use, etc.
–Martha asks prayer for Dr. Reed, who has had a stroke. He is now at the Bryan Center.
–Julie relays Jane’s request for Stuart’s family in their recent loss. (Sorry, I’m not quite positive about the other details mentioned…please leave a comment if you know).
–Debbie asks prayer for all the youth returning to school.
