Bill Evans – update 6

Dear Church Family – I was by this morning to see Brother Bill. He seemed to be doing better. The doctors were in to see him about surgery. They feel that Bill would be able to have the surgery, though of course, it would require an almost six month recovery. Despite the surgery, Bill is still facing dialysis with or without. His kidneys are giving out. He was resting well when I left. Ellen wants everybody to know she appreciates so much the prayers, and please continue to pray for them. They must make a decision whether to have the surgery or not.
Also, the family is looking for someone who would be willing to sit with Bill through the night (with pay) for a unspecified period of time while he is at the hospital. If you know of anybody, please let me know at 934-4022 or call the family at 553-5285 or the hospital 783-3100 and ask for Williams Evans, room 3040.
