Sharon Lloyd

Sharon Llyod, mother of two from Dunn, is figting breast cancer. Tammy Benson met her at the
hospital in Smithfield and felt moved to share Christ with her, and to have us add Sharon
to our prayer list. Updates will come as Tammy receives them.

Funeral Arrangements for Martha Jones

From Pastor Jim:
The funeral arrangements for Martha Jones are as follows: Thursday evening 5pm-6pm wake at Powhatan Church. Funeral service begins at Powhatan Church. After interment in the Powhatan cemetery, family will have dinner at the Powhatan Fellowship hall. Food items can be brought directly to the church fellowship Hall.

Ruby Phillips - Update

 Mama came home today. She is doing great! There was talk of sending her to a rehab but the doctors decided that she could come home to heal. God has truly blessed mama. Please continue to pray for her.

Ruby Phillips - Update!

Her surgery went good. The doctor put a pin and a plate in her hip and had to give her a pint of blood. She is doing really well. They plan to get her up and walk her tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers.

Please remember my mother, Ruby Phillips. She fell and broke her hip Thursday evening. She is at JMH and is scheduled for surgery on Saturday around 11 am. She is not in a lot of pain and is actually doing good considering. Thank you.

Rev. Donald Coates

The Rev. Donald Coates, moderator of the Western Conference and pastor of Pine Level OFWB Church, was diagnosed with Melanoma this past week.  He has multiple tumors, in his lungs, lymph nodes, and one in each eye. He will begin laser treatment on his eyes this week and see an oncologist very soon regarding treatment.  [...]

Visited with Amy Sauls, Barbara Barbour’s daughter, in the hospital with possible pancreatitis. She is doing well. She will see the doctor Monday morning, the 4th, for more information about how they will be treating her. She is at Johnston Memorial in room 505. Be much in prayer for her.
