From Pastor Jim:
Please remember Mrs. Betty at Wake Medical. She had a stint put in this week and after she came home she felt that something was not quite right with it so she returned to the hospital. The doctors have helped her and she should be home sometime in the early part of the week!

Savannah Cummings can hear!
From Wanda Benson:
Deb just called and told me that Savannah can hear. They did some kind of hearing test on her and when the animals made noises she turned her head. She also was trying to talk. Deb said maybe one day she will hear Hollie sing.
God is Good.
Please pray that the more they turn it up the more she can hear.
God Bless you all.

Katie Bailey – update
From Pastor Jim:
I spoke with Katie this afternoon. She is getting around the hospital on her own strength; though she used her wheel chair to go to the play room this afternoon. She feels like she’s doing really well and they hope to be coming home from the hospital tomorrow.
Savannah Cummings – update
From Debbie Jones:
Savannah’s surgery went well last month. They have several auditory levels so they must gradually turn her cochlear implant up.
She can hear “Loud banging on Pots” but that’s about all right now. She blinks if you are behind her and the noise registers. She cannot hear language yet.
She will be tested next week and probably turned up some more. Thanks, and keep her in your prayers.
Jim Goranson
From Debbie Jones:
Ben’s father-in-law…Jim Goranson has some sad news. He has stage 4 cancer which we have know for a while, but it is worsening. It is in his liver, lungs, small intestine and things are bad. He was diagnosed five years ago and had many surgeries and chemo treatments. Just before the wedding in July he had to go off the treatment for two weeks just so he could have strength to walk Jackie down the aisle.
Then, the medicine caused both his tendons in his heals to crack, so he hasn’t been able to walk for the last several months.
He then got a blockage in his intestine and was unable to eat…. the higher chemo doses caused him to get severely dehydrated and he had to get a blood transfusion.
Lastly, he went into surgery Tuesday to remove some of the damaged intestine. It took almost twelve hours. Bad news. They could not get it all, so after he comes out of ICU (Toledo hospital in Toledo, OH) the family will most likely be using HOSPICE.
Here is the website link below for the caring bridge updates….Please forward to everyone and ask them to sign in to the site and keep them in your prayers
….I AM STILL PRAYING FOR A MIRACLE!!
