Sandy came through her surgery as Wake / Cary Hospital and was headed to a room around 6 PM. They did a mastectomy and also removed some lymph nodes. According to Mike, the doctors have said there is a chance they could find some additional cancer, but they highly doubted it. With some rest, she may possibly be able to go home tomorrow. Keep Mike and his entire family in your prayers.
