Church isn’t just a place to be, it’s a community! Christ calls us to love God, and to love others. The church gives us opportunities to hear the Word, and to apply what we hear by ministering to, helping, and encouraging one another.
Not sure what you can do? The Lord gives each of us gifts to use (See Romans 12:6-13). Here is a list of opportunities to learn, to serve, and to reach out to others.
- BBQ Chicken Fundraiser/Outreach
This once- or twice-a-year event involves planning, marketing, cooking, assembling, delivering, greeting, smiling, and lots of cleaning! Whether you prefer direct community interaction or working behind-the-scenes, there’s a job for you!
- Choir/Special Music
Do you have musical talent? Whether you sing or play an instrument, talk to our Choir Director about opportunities to use your gift.
- Community Outreach
Whether you have a specific idea or just a heart for reaching the lost, this team can give you a chance to put ideas into action.
Take a turn welcoming people as they walk in the door on Sunday. Hand out bulletins, help with directions, and let visitors see God’s joy in your smile!
- Laymen’s League
Join the men of the church as they study the Word, and get involved in some of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our church facilities running.
- Relay for Life
Join our team for the annual Relay for Life to support cancer research!
- Senior Adult Ministry (SAM)
Join our 60-or-older adults for bi-monthly meetings and activities.
- Sunday School
Take the opportunity to learn, apply, and share the fundamentals, applications, and history of our faith.
- Vacation Bible School
Every summer, we devote a week to hosting and teaching community youth (and adults) about the Bible. Planning and preparing start months in advance, however! If your gifts are in teaching, organizing, crafts, or storytelling, we have something you can do!
- Women’s Ministry
Join the women of the church as they study the Word, and get involved in some of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our church facilities running.
